Have you ever had one of those days?

Well, have you, ever had one of those days. Days when with the best will in the world, even though you started out right, you end up putting out the preverbal "Fires" and end up with a mouthfull of other peoples noses that you bit off. No I'm not feeling sorry for myself or with reluctance those noseless people I am commanded to share God's world with. After the weekend with Carl and a lot of fun, reality crept back in with all the stealth of a Virgin intercity express Wooooosh, Screach, Blast.

Then we had lots of trouble with the new Blog hence the new URL//, isn't it typincal that on days like the one I've just descrided even the internet needs to put the boot in.

But you know just sittting telling you about all this has made me feel better, so like king David I'm off now to tell the one person who can really change things around, before tomorrow, all about my day.

And we're off !

Welcome to our first Blog, or as Iris, for some reason known only to herself, calls it Blob. We have also thought of several other amusing names the most publishable being Bogspot. Well you see we are "Irish"after all.

The title of this Blog is Tom & Iris so we will both be adding Stuff from time to time and we hope you will soon get to know from our writing style who actually published the current blog i.e. this one is from Tom.We have just returned from enjoying a few days away with Carl Brettle in Cardiff and were there from last Friday, but alas we are back to work today. Our time spent with Carl has, as ever, been fantastic, yet challenging. It's a bit like visiting your favourite health farm, where, no matter how stretched you feel like at times, you always know it's for your good, however here the food is great, not to mention the red wine. No, I said not to mention the red wine. Ok I'll not mention, the red wine then.

As you can see we hope you won't take our blog too seriously yet also trust that you will find yourself being encouraged and at times challenged, at least enough to become a regular visitor perhaps.
